Default Alpha dial with 8310

Is there anyway to dial by letter or dial by name with the 8310? I was just calling a business office and the automated system asked me to enter the last name of the person. I couldn't figger out how to do it because the letters you see on a normal phone keypad aren't there on the Blackberry. Thanks.

Just hold ALT while you press the letters.

mckinneycm,
If I have to call something like 1-800-EAT-FISH, on a normal phone it would be 1-800-328-3474. How would I do that on the Blackberry? The number keys don't have the letters like a normal phone key pad.

You would dial 1-8-0-0, then hold ALT and press E-A-T-F-I-S-H. The BB will translate the letters to the correct numbers.
