I have a curve for T-mobile with BIS.
I set up 4 email addresses (1 yahoo, 1 att, 1 hotmail and 1 live) and they were all good. Last weekend the phone started acting up, having some activity in the background, thus draining the battery in less than 3 hours. After speaking with T-mobile BB help line they suggested to backup the phone and wipe it out.

I did and it went back to normal except for one thing: my emails from hotmail and live.com are not displaying the msgs properly. Yahoo and ATT are fine, but the other two only show HTML codes mixed with the msg itself.

I called again T-Mobile and they suggested to upgrade the OS, which I did and discovered my BB now has Video recording capability, but still no luck with my hotmail and live.com emails.

Does anyone know what could I do to be able to read my emails without all the HTML codes? just like I do with my other two emails? I have tried every single option! I dont care if i cannot see the images, I just wanna be able to read the email without all those codes preceding the actual written message.

make sure you have the newest OS for your phone. you can get this from the top of the parent forum.

i had some issues with my hotmail as well. i just deleted them from the actual BIS site (not on the berry) and re added them. they worked fine after that

Just to confirm whats the URL for the BIS site then?

I originally had added an hotmail email account to my blackberry since purchase.

I phoned up my carrier (vodafone) and got them to delete my hotmail account because I was being prompted to change my password in order to reactivate the account but login wasn't working. So I figured best bet would be to delete the account and add it again.

Now that I want to add, I can't! I'm stuck. Everytime i try to create a new account, I'm told that there is already blackberry account setup (which I know). Then if I try to login via existing user, i'm not accepted. However none of these options allow me to 'add' a hotmail account.

Any ideas?

I've tried the above via both Mobile Email Settings & Wizard option.
