Default Media Player - Shuffle songs

Please Login to Remove!

I have about 7 GB of songs on my 8310 but when I select Shuffle Songs in the Media Player it generally only has a few albums included. Is there a way to ensure it holds all my albums/songs in the index? There is constantly a blue line at the bottom saying "Scanning".

Hmmm... mine are in folders by artist/album inside the Music folder, and shuffle songs works fine. It takes a little while though on my 8 Gb card.

I just got an 8 GB card, 4 GB of music organized by Artist then Album (where it applies).. You might want to try it first with 4 GB of music then 6 GB of music and then add the rest. Might be worth a shot.

This seems really dumb to me or else is just a plain bug. If I choose the explore feature I can navigate to a folder and play the songs in it. If I go thru Media Player->Music->Artists I can sometimes find songs and sometimes not. I get a perennial message at the bottom saying "Scanning...". I really don't want to dump all the songs in one folder if that can be avoided.

Try a battery pull -- with the BB powered on, remove battery for about 30 seconds.
