Ok, I am working with an iMac G5, T-Mobile Curve 8320 and I use PocketMac as an interface. The new v4.5 software is intended for Windows therefore I cannot run the download onto my iMac.

Is it even possible for me to use my iMac for this procedure?

Any reason why RIM does not make these upgrades available to Mac users???

supposedly, rim is working on macs. use parallels desktop or boot camp and run windows for the procedure. Impossible to run on a Mac, for now.

PCs have historically had a bigger share of the market so Macs have been overlooked until now - or so that's the reasoning I have heard.
