Well i just got an 8320 curve from a friend and every time i try to put a video on it, it says file not able to be transferred. ill click the "convert for optimal playback" and it just keeps giving me an error message. I've tried mpeg and avi formats and nothing. what am i doing wrong? I have a 1g micro sd in it that has plenty of room.

It could be the format is not recognized by Roxio. If it's already AVI/3GP/MP4 format then drop it directly onto the MicroSD rather than relying on Roxio. If it's another format, encoded with Divx/Xvid, or just not playing properly then use Seabyrd's converter.
If you can post the error message it would be a bit more helpful to diagnose.

Thanks for the welcome. well thats just it, at first i was just dropping them in, but then when i try to play them on the blackberry, it says not able to play or it will only play the audio. the error message say:one or more of the following files could not be transferred: (name of file)

Did you upgrade to OS4.5? I've heard some say it's more touchy now than back in 4.2, but I don't know for certain. Could try and download xPlayer, at shapeservices.com, and give that a shot to play it in case it is an issue with Media Player or reconvert it with Seabyrd's.
