Angry Please Help lost all my texts and almost all my emails

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings,

I noticed a week a ago I lost most of my texts going back a few months, today I have lost all my texts expect a few from last feb, I have had a data plan for the past 3 months but it only shows emails from the past 2 days. The only thing I did was change my profile from vibrate to normal

I'm beyond lost and many of those texts have info I really need and use on a daily basis

Someone please help!! is there anyway to get those messages back?

What is your File Free? Options > Status > File Free.

If it's less than 12 000 000, then the phone will start to delete messages. Deleted messages can't be recovered unless you have a backup.

That's really not accurate.
There's no documentation that say 12MB is the cutoff for the device to start deleting old content to make room for new.
We have users that run their devices with 4 or 5 megs of free memory and never experience any data loss.

A better answer is that the device will start to purge old messages when it thinks it needs to.
It's not always 12mb.
