I got the BB Curve 8310 today.

How can I transfer my contacts (in the phone memory of my old Nokia 6085) to the BB? I don;t want to transfer it to SIM since it takes only one phone# per contact. I do not have a dataSync either form Nokia to PC.
I was trying to use Bluetooth. I tried connecting the 2 devices through bluetooth. While both phones are now paired with each other, when I tried sending my contacts from the Nokia to the BB, it says it cannot find any bluetooth device switched on.

Please help since i have lots of contacts and do not want to type-it-in unless it is a last resort.

Syncing the Nokia to your PC is really your best bet. I'd recommend not considering any devices in the future that can't do this. Contact management on the PC is definitely a lot easier. Backing up and/or syncing isa must as well.

If you have access to a PC install the Dekstop Manager and use the Switch Device Manager. It works very well!
