Little circuit board help So I was trying to solder the charging port cause it got loose. I bought it like that for $50 (y) well I noticed a solder pad is missing and was wondering if any one can help me out on either how to replace a solder pad or find the trace for it. |
Didn't knew charging ports are that expensive ! do you mean the Track where you solder the port to PCB is missing ? do you see the track broken near the port (if iam understanding it correctly) I would have tried to use some strong glue to fix the port on PCB if iam able to connect the pins to the circuit. |
Charging port wasn't $50 I meant the phone. One of the pads that the pins should have connected to is missing. I dont think I can precisely glue a little pad on the board lol |
If the solder pad is missing your pretty much s.o.l. You would need some pretty specialized (read: expensive as hell) equipment to repair it. |
If you can find a good electronic supply company around you....they should have stuff to etch your own boards. Specifically...small, round "tabs"... that should work |
