Default Connect 8320 with Laptop to sync data via bluetooth - Help me

Please Login to Remove!

Dear all,

I am using 8320 (T-mobile) and I want to connect with my Laptop (Sony VAIO SZ Series, having built-in bluetooth) via Bluetooth connection to Sync Data, Schedules, Contacts... but I can not do this.

Can you please help me. I's in need 'cause my mini USB port does not work anymore after falling from the desk while charging

Thank you very much.

i'm trying to do this as well. i can charge my phone through the usb port which is all loose now, but it won't recognize it as a usb device. so i can't back up my data. i've read that back up is possible by bluetooth and even though i haven't everything paired up with my laptop, the option for bluetooth is not possible to enable in desktop manager.

i read that you have to use windows XP drivers and not the one that the drivers in your built in bluetooth. that may solve that problem for you. but i'm using a dongle and can't get it to work.

Bluejae is right. The most likely problem is the Windows drivers have to be used, not the bluetooth module manufacturer drivers. Make sure you have the driver installation software so you can put it back on if it doesn't work, then uninstall the built in bluetooth module. Install and do not select the bluetooth manufacturer's driver. Let it install the Windows one.

There is a bluetooth subforum here that might have answers for Sony laptops.

i still can't get mine to work. i've got a toshiba, i don't remember what brand my bluetooth dongle is. it's a mini 100m dongle. and i've got the curve with 4.5.0.81. bluetooth adapter installed through windows, was able to add the devices, yet no blue light showing pairing, but laptop shows it's paired. desktop software doesn't give me the bluetooth option.
