Question anyone ever seen 2 phone numbers under profile?

Please Login to Remove!

Here's one for you experts! After clicking on the sound icon, clicked advanced>menu>edit there are all the things you can be notified in your profile. Have you ever seen 2 phone numbers listed? The one is the actual phone number of the device, the other is a 10 digit number of mostly 0's except for 2 digits near the end. This is a friends device and my buddies compared our curve 8330's and his is the only one with this "double phone number".

The problem we are trying to solve is the "calls go directly to voicemail". We've searched all the message boards out there and tried every fix suggested. The last thing suggested by you experts is that it is simply a defect and it needs to be returned for a replacement. Could be, but I was wondering if this "double phone number" oddity is a factor. I can't find any reference to it elsewhere. We are scared to delete it in case it's needed for something! Thank you for bearing with me... Any help is greatly appreciated!

make sure the blackberry says line one when your in your phone. It may have accidentally gotten switched to line two. If it did scroll up to where it says line two, and press the menu button and hit change line and then select line 1.

Hope this helps.

actually easiest way...press the phone button (green button). Hit the menu button and select options then general options. It will say Active Line. That should be set to Line 1.

Have you made sure that call forwarding is turned off? I know that it may sound dumb, but sometimes the little things count.

yeah - no, nothing is ever a dumb suggestion. The simplest things are often overlooked... Checked call-forwarding, Do not disturb, profile>tone, battery pull...
open to any other suggestions!

NEVER MIND - IT'S RINGING!!! It was a mistake on the carrier's end. The number was transferred from a Bell phone, and when it was set up by Telus, they didn't change the port. We're not sure what that is all about - but regardless, it is now working! Thanks for your efforts!
