Default Memory after upgrade?

Please Login to Remove!

I updated last night ot 4.5 on AT&T, dropped to 11 mb of memory- i've pulled the battery and still nothing. Only extra apps i have are AOL and Yahoo, which were on before. I did notice Yellow Pages loaded and Streaming Media now has white box around the icon.

anyone experiance any of these issues after upgrade? why did my memory drop so low? how do i get it back???

Find the sticky thread by John Clark on how to free up memory. The OS (and applications) keep getting larger, but the device stays the same. You are going to have to free up some memory.

You also want to include which version of 4.5 is was. You might want to try a different one.
8830 -> 8330 -> 9550 -> 9650
Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.

I just updated my 8320 2 days ago to and I increased my memory after the install, this is even before I went in and did Jclarks memory optimization. I have Vlingo, AP news, Yahoo chat and my memory is around 19mb. as njblackberry stated find that sticky and do it, should have improved it.
