Default 4.5 Email Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Upgraded to 4.5.0.99 on a 8310 from OS 4.2.XX. When I used to get an email and wanted to delete it, I had the option of deleting it off the handhel and mailbox or just the handheld. With 4.5 all it does is delete off the handheld. me no likey. anyone know of a fix?

Having the same problem, went to options, email reconciliation and made sure each email account is set to "mailbox & handheld" and it still doesnt work. Any other ideas?

Depends upon which mailbox you are talking about. Assuming that you are on BIS, reconcile and delete from mailbox only works on the server side of things. If mail has already been downloaded to Outlook, then it won't get deleted or reconciled. It will if mail is till on the server, waiting to download to Outlook.

At least this is how I understand it works.

If you want to be prompted then Mailbox & Handheld is the wrong option. You need to choose Prompt.
