I got the new 9000 (Bold) and now I'm giving my old 8310 to my daughter. I want to delete all my email stuff and would like to transfer my password stuff to my new phone also. Just can't figure out how to do this.

To transfer your stuff, use the Switch Device Wizard in Desktop Manager.
After you have moved everything over, your can erase all of you data from the BB by going into

Options / Advanced / Security / General Security
Click the menu key and select Wipe Handheld (I think that's what it is labeled)...

Yes, you do, on AT&T. A Service Book is sent to enable the MMS data messages.

I heard somewhere where there is a $29.99 plan and a $30.00 or does it just not matter with AT&T? That's kind of a crock of u know what!!

Well, you could get the "kid" another phone that doesn't require a BB Data Plan.
This is where you make the choice, AT&T is not forcing you to give the BB to your child.

Thought it was worth a shot. It worked on my son's 8100 until he got a data plan and is still working on my daughter's 8110. I agree with you, there is nothing in AT&Ts description of the unlimited text and MMS plan that excludes Blackberry devices, and I believe there is a way for your curve to work, there is just no-one at AT&T that knows how to do it. The only thing that should not work is BB Push mail and BB Messenger, as those are run through RIM servers.
