I've had my blackberry 8310 for about 3 mos. now and since then have updated the OS 3 times, and installed around 5 themes. When I saw the new OS update (4.5.0.110) and that it was released by AT&T, I figured I should update. Everything went smoothly and got the new OS. However, when I woke up this morning, I noticed that none of the buttons worked. I could get the screen to pop up, but the trackball didn't work, and it wouldn't respond to any keys I pushed.

So I pulled the battery. When it was back up, it worked for about 2 seconds, then it froze on me again. After about 5 more battery pulls and getting the same result each time, I had to get to school. Now, after school, I notice that I can't even get the screen to pop up. And when I pull the battery and the screen pops up at the very beginning with all the backlights, I notice that there isn't a backlight on the trackball.

What should I do!!

id say warrenty time. that doesnt sound like an os problem sounds like hardware to me

It looks that the OS did not get loaded properly. Try wiping your BB using JL_cmdr and then reloading the OS.
