Default Help please - uncaught exception: index 98>=2 - 12-17-2008, 05:10 AM

Hi all,

I keep getting an error message come up when i reboot my blackberry, "uncaught exception: index 98>=2"

I have wiped the blackberry and reinstalled it and it works fine, but when i load a new application (any) on, and then reboot i lose some of my contacts and get this error message up, i have even install the new 4.5.0.110 on to but still the same problem

any help would be great

My guess is there is one application installed in your berry which is triggering this exception for all other applications. Since you already have the latest OS my recommendation would be remove all the 3rd party apps and default apps and then load the apps one by one.

Defaults apps would include Task, Memopad, BB messenger, BB maps etc.

Sometimes it happens that devices are faulty but that is not very common and I assume you have used it for sometime.

Hi, thanks for your reply i will try that tonight, i have had my bb for 5 months now, and not had the prob before, although when i first updated my BB to v4.5 a couple of months ago i did loose BB Maps and it does say that it is installed but can never find the link to it ???? and i have restarted loads and now updated again and still cant find it ???
