I am really hoping someone can help me as i am about to block my blackberry 8300 curve.
Certain applications ( facebook for example) will not let me view them, as i apparantly need to insert the keystore password.
I have no recolection of ever creating a key store password. Does anyone know how to get around this ? or any alternative solution.

Try this.. Go to Options > Security Options > Key Stores. When you go there, you would get prompted to "Please choose a new key store password:". Create one there and then provide the same to Facebook.

I had the same problem. After spending about 2 hrs on the phone with BB, hear's what they had me do. 1st back up your phone. Then go ahead and use the remaining key store attempts so that your phone closes down.(scary) then go to your backup and reinstall it. To avoid this in the future jujst don't create a keystore password when it promps for one
