Am I missing something in the options. I am able to choose simple profiles like vibrate, loud, etc but I can't find where I can set different volumes for Phone, text or email alert, and direct connect volume.

Are you finding things a little loud? If so, me too.

To answer your question (or at least I think I'm answering your question), when you usually go to profiles and click on it you usually go to another menu.

Now you have to go to the profiles menu, and scroll down to advanced to get to that menu where you'll be able to set volumes on things.

Even at low I'm still finding things too loud.

So to recap,

Go to profiles, scroll down to advanced, you'll see your profiles again, now click on the one you want and you'll get the list of items you can change properties on including volume.

On your homescreen, hit profile. Scroll down to Advanced. Highlight over the profile in question and hit the BB Menu key. Hit edit. Select the thing you want to edit. Select volume, vibrate tones, etc.

Thats what I needed thanks. Initially my phone volume was fine but could barely hear direct connect. When I turn volume all the way up on the side direct connect would be ok but phone would be way to loud. Thanks again
