Question Vibrating in Quiet Mode

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I have my phone on Quiet at work but can't seem to get it to stop vibrating when I get an SMS!

This is quite loud as my phone is on my desk and our office is very quiet at times.

I have SMS set to None but have tried everything I can think of. It doesn't vibrate with emails?

Any ideas?

Is it in Holster mode and you only change the out of holster mode?

I have set both in and out of holster to none. Don't have a Holster so not sure what it means - new to BB incase you didn't guess.
Not sure how you set holster mode?

Welcome to the forums!

In Profiles, you should see the abililty to set your ring profile to both "while in holster" and " while out of holster". Since you don't use a holster, how this is set shouldn't matter.

Try setting a different profile, and then adjusting your out of holster setting for SMS the way you want it ( given what you descibed, I would say you are looking for "Silent")

Thank you so much!

I completely forgot I played around with exceptions a while ago - and I didn't even notice that it was only certain texts until I tested it out.

Anyway, it's nice and quiet on my desk now
