Just got a curve 8330 (VW).. I'm sort of familiar with BB as I had an 8700 from my prior job, but never had to set it up myself, and curve is VERY different from 8700.
1) I want a simple theme that lists all the applications with TEXTUAL NAMES and NOT ICONS - can anyone recommend?
2) I was surprised that it came with -zero- ringtones. Where can I get a few free simple ringtones?
3) Although i have a copy of outlook on my PC, I don't use it for anything. I suppose I can fire it up, load all my contacts into it, and sync. However, there must be a better piece of SW. I assume it won't 'sync' with an LDIF file, but is there some dedicated app for loading contact info so I can type it on the PC and then download into the Curve?
4) does the voice dialing work well enough to give it a try?

2) You can use Audacity to make ringtones and copy them to your blackberry
4)VAD works good with common names and people that speak american english. Not too well for any other types of names or people with accents, even british, though many don't consider it an accent
