Default 8320 is totally dead for 3 months, then turns on one day, only to turn off

so my supposed dead 8320 turned on today for no reason.

i had tried everything from attempting to reinstall the OS and other USB possible problems, but it was dead, not responsive at all, no LED, no screen nothing for 3 months

so when i found it in my desk today with the screen on i reinstalled the latest OS and tested it for a couple hours, it worked perfectly, then after 5 hours its reverted back to being an awesome paperweight.

any ideas on this?

Forgive me if this is something you've already tried and didn't mention, but have you tried replacing the battery?

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile BB 8320 OS 4.5.0.81)

Have you tried "How to wipe with JL CMDR", or "What to do next if JL CMDR won't connect and wipe" over @ blackberryfaq.com?
