question for audio-streaming experts - thanks!

Hi - Is there any way I can play this stream on my curve? It seems to want flash player. Is there an alternative I can download or buy? I'd really like to be able to listen to this particular stream. It's not available in any other format.

Thanks!

play.it Radio Player

There's no Flash Player on any BB and very few smartphones.

Do they have the streaming audio in any other format?
Or perhaps look for another audio player that allows you to program personal choices in the streaming audio.

The provider of my stream pointed me to a site that offers it via WMP or RealPlayer.
Does that help? Can I listen to either of these streams?
How? I think I need to download an app? from where?

Thanks VERY much!

I use BerryTunes and it works great for me.

I found a link to your radio station and tried it out. Here is the link I found that worked for me.

I can't post links yet, but it wasn't too hard to find. Message me and I will send it to you if you need.

It seemed to have about a 30 second delay from the stream on the home page you linked to but otherwise it worked just fine.

I think I paid $25 for BerryTunes but you can try it out for free before you buy it.

Thanks - will try it out

If you have a non-Flash based stream URL, then you should have success with moodio.fm . It is free, and there is no download, its runs via the browser.

Also, Nobex Radio Companion does a good job, and has a radio station index built-in (no stream URL searching needed).

I tried moodio and found my station. I get an error message that the format is not supported. Do I have my settings wrong or something?
