In one of my four email accounts on the BB, I was receiving emails this morning, and a few minutes ago, all the emails from today vanished.

in my other email accounts on the BB, the emails are still sitting there.

It sounds like your device is very low on memory. When that happens, the device will start deleting emails, call logs, text messages, etc, in order to reclaim the space.

Click on Options (or Settings, then Options) then Status. Write down the File Free number.

Now pull the battery (while device is on) and put it back in after 30 seconds. Once it boots up again, go check the File Free number agin.

And post both back here so we can help further.

You won't get the deleted emails back, unfortunately.

Also, for your device (I have 2 8830's) 16M, and even 24M is pretty low (sad, but it's low). I usually run into trouble when I get to around 35M free (I get about 51M free after a battery pull).
