Default media card corruption

Please Login to Remove!

when i was listening to my music this morning on my bb 8300, it came up with a message say error with media files and it wanted me to format the media card but when i do that it freezes

any way to correct this?

Copy everything off the card onto your computer and then reformat the card. Then copy everything back onto the card.

if it is corrupt you cant copy the files over, when i go on the card there is nothing on it, and i havn't formatted it or anything all the music and pics "so to speak just disappeared"

Delete all data on the card using your PC, and then format.

Hmmm, well I was still able to read mine on my computer after my Curve indicated that it couldn't read it.

Oh well. Time to start over.

I also back mine up on a weekly basis because they do have a tendency to get corrupted.
