So, I washed my Pearl and gave myself a great exuse to get the curve I always wanted. I am happy that it cam from T-Mobile with 4.5.0.81. Is there any compelling reason to uprrade to the latest OS?

Any other tips that would help me out would be great.

If it seems to be working properly and does what you need it to do, I see no need to upgrade. I am still running 4.2 on my 8800 because it isn't broken and doesn't need fixing.

True, but you don't have HTML email on 4.2 (it was a huge improvement for me). I will take your advice and enjoy the fact that everything works fine and leave it alone until something substantial is added.

True, sometimes an OS upgrade will give you some advanced features that you didn't have before, but not always. Often the benefit is simply a more stable OS. Best bet would be to read the "Latest OS" stickies at the beginning of each series forum ( "General Discussion: 8300 Series", etc.) to determine what the new release provides.

In this case, very little difference between 4.5.0.81 and 4.5.0.110.

To Dubdub's point, if there aren't compelling reasons for you to upgrade, there is no need to do so.

I agree with "ndub33".. basically there is no tangible difference which is noticeable by us.. The only difference between .81 and .110 is there are some bug fixes in the OS. 4.5 is the release so features will be same across the release.
