Question [8300 AT&T] BES Security removal.

Please Login to Remove!

So got a new 8310 from work, the old 8300 i was using is getting demoted/promoted to my eldest as a mountain phone.

I would like to get rid of the password requirement implemented by the BES. Wiping the phone does not get rid of it. Was curious if anyone had some insight as to how i can make this phone not require a password after 15 minutes?

Thanks.

If your talking about the new phone, you can't get rid of it. It's part of the IT policy. The new phone would need to be wiped using JL_Cmder

Default Thanks.

The old phone. The new one is mine, it needs the password functionality.

So third-party app to wipe the security?

Check out BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ and look for the entry "Remove IT Policy". That should help you out.
