Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

See if there are some items you can remove such as the extra languages or the sample video. That is step 1 at least.

I have the same problem since upgrading also. I just do more frequent battery pulls.
I think it is an issue with 4.5xx, but still like the improvements with 4.5, so I do not plan to downgrade the OS. If anyone knows of a cure, please let us know in the Forum. I have done all the Memory FAQ's tricks and still have the Memory Leak problem on my 8320 Blackberry.

i have heard of some people have memory leaks after upgrading. Dunno if that's the problem here. I agree with above with deleting the other languages, which are not needed, and only take up memory. I know a rule of thumb to be on the safe side is to have at least around 15mbs free. I'm using 4.5.0.66, though it came on the BB. Also have a little over 24mbs free still.

My memory is fine now, what im dealing with right now is a little lag when pressing the menu button or when launching an app. I though it was just me but I gave my phone to my wife just to test it without letting her know and it was big enough for her to notice. She was like "hey did you noticed that your was taking kind of long to open the apps and getting into the menu screen where all the icons are." anyone having this issue?

BTW - my upgrade came from t-mobile
