| Alltel BB data issues Please Login to Remove! Data on my Blackberry Curve has been a bit wiggy lately!
8330 OS 4.5.089 BIS
Several weeks ago my email, which has been delivering in less than a minute started delaying bad, I mean 15-20 minutes. I did the normal troubleshooting, cycled the radio, pulled the battery, resent service books, deleted and re added email accounts, opened trouble tix with email provider, wiped and restored OS, etc. So as much as I’d appreciate those suggestions save the effort, been there done that! Messages would be delivered in bunches, i.e. one would make it through it was like the flood gates opened and all the messages were stuck in system delivered to my device, same for Blackberry messenger, if I typed a message that triggered a data update and that caused messages to come flooding in. Also my homepage and browser settings are being pushed to my device rendering them unchangeable and apparently I am not the only one seeing this occur
So I called Alltel and of course they have nothing in the system to indicate a network issue, so after rehashing all the steps I took with my device with CS, they determined it must be the device (for the record I stated I thought it was network related to them) and ordered an XBM, So fast-forward I am on my third device and guess what same issue, It was working great at first now today its dragging and sticking, plus browser takes insane amount of time to load images. At any rate, anyone have any insight as to whether my issue is network related or if there is something in my account settings that could be creating the issue as now I feel safe in saying that its not my device. |
