Last week i upgraded to the official att os upgrade for my 8310. Ever since that day my batter only last for about 18 hours as of before with the os 4.2 it lasted for multiple days. Did anyone else get this problem and is there a fix to this problem?

If you went to 4.5 from 4.2 you'll notice the battery doesn't do quite as well. It depends on how much you use it though.

i didnt use it that much i had a 100% charge on it then i went to bed and woke back up and it only had 30% left

What 3rd party apps do you have installed?

google maps and myspace

If you leave Google Maps running it will hit the battery pretty hard. Hitting the escape key (right of trackball) does not shut down Google Maps. Make sure you hit menu and select "Exit."

i always go to the menu and hit exit cause i noticed that the battery drained faster with the old os 4.2

I have an 8330 as does my wife. Mine works just fine. Sprint has now replaced the BB twice and hers continues to drain in several hours (even when she doesn't use it) while mine does not. I had 4 gig cards
in both and thinking it might be that switched hers back to original 1 gig.

Anyone have ideas. We are frustrated.
