OMG OMG OMG!!! Whatever it did while I had the spinny hourglass must have worked...I have a screen, and it's charging. The battery is TOTALLY empty, but it booted itself up and I got the Sprint Icon Screen, and then it said Media Card Inserted, and now it seems to be charging...indicator light is blinking and when I push a button on the keyboard, my screen comes up and my cute puppies are there.

Hi oliegirl, This is the first place to come for advice, While Sprint should be taking out and shot for the garbage they were pulling on you, it is good to hear that your device appears to now be working. I would print and keep a copy of this thread in case the device starts up again with that problem, that way you may want to either reload the software or go to a Sprint store and TELL THEM I am under warrenty and you can not chargbe me to look at the device.

I was going to email them, and let them know that I am very disappointed in the "customer service" I received, but then figured it wasn't worth it. I'm going to upgrade my OS this afternoon, but everything seems to be working fine.

What OS are you currently running? Options > About will tell you.

If it is from the link I gave you, it should be 4.5.0.131 and that is the latest official release for the 8330.

no you should you email them and say your going to leave them after your contract is up because of there customer service. sprint is in a bad shape you never know you might get a credit or something.
