purchased my 8310 from a kind - of dodgy online store who gave me a tax invoice with no serial number on it. the site was phoneshop.com.au

The website is now gone and i cant get through on their phone to give me a receipt with the number on it. Here in australia, the repair centre requires a receipt with the serial number. am i doomed? has anyone had a similar experience?

well the main problem is the vibrate profile doesnt work at all, but the scroll ball is also stuffed, won't scroll downwards unless i press it really hard. I've only had it for 11 months
