i recently updated my blackberry from the original software to 4.5.0.77(platform 3.2.0.51)
not sure what the original software was but i have noticed a substantial delay with many functions. when i send a text it takes a good 10 secs before i can do anything else, take a picture same thing except longer than 10 secs.

any idea on what this problem could be attributed to?

That's interesting. As with ANY blackberry problem, I suggest doing a battery pull. (It cures most problems). Next, take a look at your available system memory. Go into OPTIONS > STATUS Post the number of bytes in this thread. How many apps are running at start-up? Do you have a mircoSD card and are you pictures, music, ringtones ON the card rather than kept in system memory?

In the past my 8330 has done that. I have pulled the battery for 60 seconds and it seems the problem went away.

Oh, I forgot to also mention: resened your service books too, just as a precaution.

im not sure about the startup apps but the only app i have added is google i think
ill resend service books tmrw and see if that helps

Upgrade to 4.5.0.131. The .77 version had lots of problems.
