Smile Help Please!!How to unlock a 8320 T-mobile to any carrier?

I'm sorry i can't find any topics related to that...
does anyone here can help me?
i've tried to upgrade (unlock,is it the same??) my 8320 T Mobile to v4.5.0.174(EastAsia)
i'm using loader.exe like JSanders told us but it is still the same...it locked..
i'm sorry if this thread is already the same with someone thread before...

Upgrading the OS does not unlock the phone. If you have a tmo account in good standing they may unlock the phone for free for you...your other option is to use an unlocking service. I would recommend Horizon Wireless, they are a sponsor of this forum.

Try calling T-mo. I called att and they unlocked all 3 phones that we use in my household. Did it before a trip overseas. Took about 15 minutes.

Otherwise Horizon Wireless has a great reputation.
