Hello, I have a 8320 OS 4.5.0.81 and my Curve won't pair with my kenwood dnx7100 navigation/dvd unit. The phone can detect the headunit listed as "unknown device" but it cannot pair with it. I didn't have this problem before and I don't recall this problem arising before or after I updated the OS, but perhaps one of you BB brethrens may have a solution to my dilemma. I don't want to be caught using my phone while driving since tickets have been on the rise for any silly little infraction.

I'm tempted to update to the latest OS but don't want to waste my time unless I'm sure that's the answer. I just tried pairing my cousin's BB Storm and I got the same results as well.

My eyes are blurry from scouring the web for answers. Alas, I've answered my own problem. Apparently my car unit is not compatible with my phones current OS. It does list my phone but with it's original OS as compatible. Now my dilemma....sacrifice the the new options included in the later OS (Video camera, media player interface, improved wifi connectivity etc...), or revert back to the original OS to use the headunit's bluetooth capabilities. What to do what to do?
