So, I've been using my Curve for 1 1/2 years and have just started having this issue... When I have the phone locked (by pressing "K" or selecting the lock icon) and I receive an incoming call I see the caller ID screen just fine - But, when I press the green phone key to answer the call and the phone goes back to the home screen instead of the call screen that says "Connected" has the call timer, etc.

If the phone is not locked when a call comes in, it works normally: when I answer the call the screen goes to the connected call screen...

Has anyone else experienced this? I popped the battery and that doesn't seem to fix it...
