im pretty sure i had the blackberry messenger when i first got my curve, 8310. i think i might have deleted it to free up some space. now of course, i have people that want me to contact them via bb msg'er. i tried to download it on my phone from blackberry.com/messenger but it's telling me that it's not supported on my phone... what can i do to restore it?

Try to have someone invite you via pin, that you should give you a link.

On OS 4.2 and up the OTA download will not work. It is included in the OS. If you have the OS loaded onto your PC, connect your device to your PC and launch DM, then click on App Loader, put a check next to BBM and click next.

Alright, well follow these steps very closely. It will reload your OS on your device and install BBM as well. Just make sure you put a check next to BBM when installing.
