With the daylight saving time change this weekend in my area I was looking and could not find whether the 8310 will auto change the time. I thought I read, but again could not find, that the phone did not auto change time when you crossed time zones in your travels or is this up to you local carrier.

Your phone will change to the correct time automatically for Daylight Saving Time.

DST and changing the time zone are two different things.
