I transferred a PDF file to the SD card on my 8330 using the desktop manager. When I try to open it I get the response unable to open this file. Do I need to install software or some type of a viewer? This is an 8MB file is it too large?

As Akosnitzky stated - Yes.

Additionally here is a list of the many of the PDF readers available. I have Beam Reader.

You can either update your OS or BeamReader has an app that is for 4.3...

Blackberry: Blackberry: BeamReader for OS 4.3 by SLG Mobile, Inc. for Blackberry

Or do a search (Not trying to be mean, but it has been discussed in great detail many times.)

BeamReader, DocHawk, PDF To Go, Repligo are the main choices for PDF readers.

Repligo was nicer but it's like 30 bucks... the PDF To Go is part of Docs To Go Premium so it will cost you 70 bucks for DTG Premium... Never used Doc Hawk but it does cost a good penny.

I used the BeamReader beta, I haven't used it since it's out of beta.. doesn't cost something nowadays?
