no if they are blocked, they are blocked. You can turn off the block and future ones will get through but the ones that were blocked wont come through unless the sender resends

Default Charged for messages blocked by firewall?

I'm going to brazil and have SMS on my phone enabled now but plan to disable, in addition to all email accounts via blocking at the firewall.

If the blackberry is blocking won't I still be charged for the SMS and emails because they are going to my phone but being rejected?

Thanks,

Jon C.

Yes you will be charged for SMS delivered to your device, whether it accepted them or not. You can ask your carrier to suspend your SMS service while you're out of the country.

Most people simply turn off data services, which would prevent the email delivery to your device. These should all come in when data services is turned back up though.
