Default New email acct. not showing symbol

Please Login to Remove!

I recently added my work email to my verizon bb curve. At first, when I would get new email from that account, I would get the red asterisk symbol over the account to notify me of new messages. I now noticed that the symbol does not show anymore and I have to search around to find where the new messages are located. Any ideas what may cause that?

Is this via BIS or BES?

Have you tried removing the battery for 30 seconds (while the device is powered on)?

I set it up myself so I believe it is BIS. It is through outlook internet email address. No, I have not pulled the battery. I should do that while turned on?

That would be BIS.

Yes, with the device powered on.

That seemed to do the trick. Sorry I forgot to try that to begin with. I'm still getting used to even having one. I appreciate the immediate help. Take care.
