New User - trying to Synch 8330 with Outlook
I've installed all the software. It says it's connected. But it's not synching my email and calendar from my desktop Microsoft Outlook.

When I take extra steps, going to synchronization, the closest I get is to synch with ASKII Importer/Exporter.

This must be something simple, but I can't find on blackberry help.

So... help.

If you already installed Desktop Manager on your PC, you need to click on Synchronize, then click on Configure Synchronization, click on Synchronization, there highlight calendar and click setup, make sure you select outlook and the proper folder. For e-mails stored on outlook, there's no way to synched to the blackberry.

What version of Outlook and what version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager? Sounds like you have incompatible versions.

If you have compatible versions, then the calendar, contacts and tasks will synch. But as stated above, email will not sync.

sounds like there has been no configuration done. You have to tell it to sync with outlook it doesnt do this right out of the box

Moved to 8300 section.

Just a reminder, email will not sync.

Make sure you properly configure calender, contacts, tasks and memos in order to sync those with Outlook.
