Default Some general help pretty please....

Please Login to Remove!

Firstly, how can I turn the 'Automatic back light function' off so that it's the brightest at all times?

Secondly, on the internet whenever I log into iGoogle or eBay etc..... when I log out and log in again I have to enter my details again. What can I do so that when I close my internet down I don't have to keep logging into sites. I'm guessing it's something to do with the cache on settings?

Many thanks

From the homescreen, press the MENU key, and then OPTIONS>SCREEN/KEYBOARD. Scroll down to backlight brightness (you can set it up to 100), and below that you can turn off the automatic dim back light function.

When you log in to a site, often there's an option for "remember me" or something to that effect. That sets a cookie on your device so you shouldn't have to log in every time -- just like on your PC. But when you log out, it removes the cookie, so don't log out if you don't want to have to log in next time you go there.

Thanks Trimix

Daphne.........many thanks for replying, however like most things with my Blackberry it doesn't work. I select 'remember me' for both iGoogle and BBC weather. I log out and log back in and have to sign in to both accounts again.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Sorry, flashthunder, I use the same method as the previous poster.

If you do not log out, you do not need to log back in. Simply move away from the site, and your 'berry should keep the settings.

Don't log out. Just close the browser when you're done.

If you click "Log Out" it will always make you log in again, even if you select "Remember Me."
