Default Disable standby mode notification

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I've had an 8310 for about a month now and everything's pretty much the way I like. I tend to keep it on the message list on standby but I like to be able to press the call buttons to see if I have any new messages. However in standby mode a notice pops up after a fraction of a second and blocks the middle of the screen. Is there any way to disable this notification? I'm not a fan of the keyboard lock because it blanks the screen when it's enabled. Is there any way to suppress this message?

Thanks!

Max

Unless it's some 3rd party software, there's nothing you can do about the standby notification. Sorry.

Is there any third party application that can do that? Or perhaps a third party keyboard lock that just blocks keyboard input without going to the keyboard lock screen?

You know that if you receive new messages you have LED notification right? So you don't always have to check the screen.

Well I'd usually like to just glance at the first few words or who it's from or whether it requires an immediate reply or not. It's just something that would make it super convenient but I understand if such a thing doesn't exist.

Thanks for replying, by the way.

There are a couple of apps that will give you a preview of the email if that's what you're looking for. Search for PeekAWho and Aerize Alerts here on BBF. There are threads about them in the Aftermarket Software section.
