Honestly, I don't know what's up with that. I have an 8330 and I haven't had any issues. What's going on? More details are needed.

No, I have updated the OS before. Probably four or five months ago? And honestly, this has been happening since I got the phone last year! I've just reached the point where it's so aggravating that I had to inquire about it.

If it was an issue when you first got the phone, I would have returned it and got a replacement. If it's still under warranty, that's the route I'd take.

If not, you could try another OS upgrade, there's a newer OS than .77 available for your device.

I don't think a new OS will fix the issue, but it most likely wouldn't hurt.

OS 4.5.0.77 had quite a few bugs in it. I don't believe any were related to call quality but upgrade anyways, to be sure.

I am running the same OS with the same device and carrier and there are no issues and I dont know of anyone else with that issue. I wish you good luck but I suspect your only resolution is to dump the phone
