Question Triangle icon

Please Login to Remove!

At random times a white triangle with a blue border will appear in the middle of the top part of the screen (under the alarm icon). My Berry's manual has no icon map, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the triangle means?

Wow. I'll have to watch myself when that comes up.

Do roaming charges apply if you're using the Internet, IM and all that, or only when talking on the phone?

Thanks a million!

Yes, all services incur roaming charges if your plan does not include free roaming.

Well, I'm still on my free month. I'll watch what the roaming looks like after I do my first prepay. If it's too much, I'll definitely disable it.

You may want to check with your carrier to assure that roaming charges are included in your free month.

Any idea on why this icon would appear if one was not roaming and still in their home area? Or even better why it would appear at all when one has a nationwide plan? My friend just bought an 8330 and while at work the blue icon appeared. Definitely not roaming at all.

Default Roaminig

You can roam in the same area especially if you are in a building with a lot of metal in the structure. In the building I work, half of it is roaming and the other half isn't. When I go to one of the main hospitals in the area I automatically roam so I had to upgrad to free roaming.

I know you can turn off roaming but I doubt that will help your signal strength though.
