Default Guys, I really need your help!

Please Login to Remove!

I just got 8310, but I'm prepaid user...
I want to use GPRS, I instaled Opera Mini, and I also input the APN, username and password under TCP, but I can't connect?! :(
Opera won't start... it says it's instaling, but I get "Failed to connect to the Internet"?! :(
What to do?

Here you go:

What are the TCP and APN settings? - BlackBerryFAQ

Be careful without a data plan and overage charges.

I downloaded it from the site and use Desktop Manager to input it in BB!

Folks, this is precisely the reason that BlackBerry devices are meant to be used with BlackBerry data plans.

If data is a must-have then get the proper BB data plan. It's hit-and-miss otherwise.

i managed to get it working with my wife's prepaid account before, what you do is you run the script to remove the browser, load the service book, and then reload the browser, the steps are not real clear As long as your prepay connection is not blocked by the RIM server that's fine, but I think the above works better even on a generic data plan doesn't have to be BIS. I love BIS it's simple and it just works.

But, I don't have postpaid, and I think you can't just register the old (used with other network in another country) BB and use it?

You need to get a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to get the internet on that device.
