Default Manual SET-UP of internet connection

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys.
I have been using my BlackBerry 8320 only with wifi Access Points for an half year without any problems (I did not have activated a cellular internet data profile to access internet). Today I wanted to activate the internet-data service of my local O2 provider. Everything went good and I have received a configuration SMS - "Device settings". When i opened it and put the 5 digit code, i got this message - "No supported Wi-Fi profiles found". I tried to set something in my BlackBerry but didn't find anything suitable.

Can you please tell me, how to set the BlackBerry with the providers internet data plan manualy? Or what should I set to get the providers config SMS to work?

THANX for every reply!

Did they set you up with a BB data plan? There's no manual set-up required.

Default No

They did not. I just bought the BB device without any SIM, without any Data-Plan. The new SIM provides Data-Plan, but maybe the provider does not support auto-config of the desired settings via config-SMS.

In my Nokia 6300, I can set attributes like Data carrier, APN address, IP address, Login/Pass, Authentication, Port and so on..
