Default Connect To Server Alarm - How to Mute

Hello

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I can't find any info using the search. I'm using an application that is always connected to the internet from my blackberry. Whenever the connection is disrupted I get an audible alarm with a message notifying me that the connection has been broken and it is trying to re-connect.

This alarm is very disruptive for me and I'm trying to mute it, but I can't figure out how to do it. I have my profile on vibrate, and all calls and SMS messages only vibrate the phone, but I can't find where to turn off this audible alarm.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the app that generates the alert?

Might help to know what the app is...
