Default Charging Issue Please Help

Please Login to Remove!

hi i have a curve 8320 when hookup it up to the wall charger no led light appears... there a small plug logo next to battery and sometimes it shuts off and the hour glass comes up... is it charging? i need help

Do you have another charge you can use?

Could be a number of things..faulty charger, faulty usb port, faulty battery.

I recommend first trying another charger - if that doesn't solve anything, try playing around with the cable end, taking it out 25% and seeing if it connects.

would another usb charger work.. it connects to my computer fine

when it was connected to my pc the desktop mannaher worked fine... the plug symbol was next to the battery.... about a few mins later screen went off
red led light came on... usb eject noise came on my pc... i jigggled the cord and it came back on.... but when it was connected i was moving the phone and it didnt disconnect.. but now its on my lap disconnecting and reconnecting.. and the led comes on n off and so does the screen

I've had it before where I could charge from my computer but not the wall charger, and it was the phone(usb port specifically), not the charger or battery.

Though, you sound like you're having all sorts of issues.

Have you recently upgraded your OS? Or any third party apps?

yeahh its 4.5.0.81

somtimes it freezes as well

i have no apps installed just the default ones

also my camera isnt working saying close programs but only the one that boots up on phone is all that opened

How recent have you upgraded your OS?

I would suggest downloading here http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ast-asian.html

download and install that and see what happens.

download and install the latest OS and see what happens.

Follow the instructions on the last link I gave you.

while installing some how it got correpted n now its on 2.7 n now the pc wont reconize it

update: i installed the new version of the os..... the lighting bolt shows next to the battery but the screen went blank red led came on then off and the hour glass appeared.....same when i hook it up to the computer

What about your status charging percentage? Have you checked to be sure that is increasing?
