Default Adjusting volume, rings, for notifications.

I just go the new BB Curve 8330. I need to be able to turn off the function when it beeps or rings to tell me I received email. Or just the notification volume down or decrease the number of rings or something. It' a little to noisy at work, when I'm receiving a lot of emails or test messages or BB Messenger.
Also, forgive me for this question, but what it the easiest way to find the question and response you just posted? I'm brand new to this forum.
Thank you, help is greatly appreciated.

Should be at the top of the forum you just posted in. However, if you can't find it you can go to your profile page http://www.blackberryforums.com/memb...doo-thumb.html and there's a link to view all your messages.
