Default Curve switches constantly from roaming to home

my phone swithes constantly from roaming to home without me ever physically moving. my tower has been looked at and theres no problems. when people call they go right to voicemail. i changed my phone to home only but i shouldnt have to do that. anyone have any suggestions?

yes i have pulled my battery. this is my fifth curve and all have the same problem in this area. bull is my nickname

Does *228 and option 2 works on Alltel or it's only for Verizon?

yes its works on alltel. what i finally had to do is set my phone to home only scan. every curve owner in this area is having the same problem. im ready for verizon to take over alltel so i can buy a storm with the new 4.7 software and be done with it
